Having extremely difficult time picking a color on a new SQ5. I keep going back and forth so thought I would come on here and someone would hep me end my madness!

My color choices have been Panther Black, Sepang, Mythos (Phantom), or Daytona. Black Interior with Carbon Atlas. 21" rims.

My hanging point has been whether to get the new Black optics package which blacks out the trim in high gloss and the grill.

I have looked at hundreds of pics of the Q5, and A series with the black optics. Sometimes I absolutely love it, sometimes not.

I am now leaning towards Panther Black, and a 14 which would have the alum trim and grill. Or a 15 in some black with the black optics.

Any thoughts on what you really think works on the SQ5?

Personal preference obviously....but I would go with the bright trim and not the black optics. Good luck with your decision.

Love the black optics on our Lava Grey, 100% over the chrome trim. No regrets!

The Black Optics is about the only thing keeping me from taking a 14 from stock now; it's the only thing that's absolutely not available on the 2014 Prestige.

I am in your boat, a Mythos or Phantom or Lava Grey is in my future.

I am even leaning towards a Panther with Black Optics..just keep drawn back to that Black...

If I can snag a 14 with maybe 7% off, ill vinyl wrap that thing and call it a night lol

I was hoping they would offer this for 15' as I hate the chrome window trim. But I don't mind the standard roof rails, the signature S mirror covers and could live with the chrom grill. With the black optics you lose the silver mirrors correct? Either way, personal preference as stated before and maybe some cost factor.

Yes you lose the alum optics mirrors..they would be body color now.

Got the black rims and black grill on my Scuba blue from the S-Line package on my '14. Definitely a must have no matter what color!

I keep flopping! Sometimes when I see it on a Daytona, the Black Optics on a Q5 just looks not quite right. I think it may be the width of the grill trim itself or something. Then I look at a Panther with chrome and the contrast seems to be just right. I hate this!!
