PROBLEM: my front right tire is almost bald, but my other tires are fine...about 60%tread left on
 

all other tires...why the hell is my front right tire almost bald? It can't be alignment can it? The front right is almost evenly bald. Could it be a defective or refurbished tire? These are my stock 15" wheels/tires by the way

you should ask Piston....
 

he had (is having) the same problem. last week at the cvo auto-x, he found out that his passenger side front tire (the inside) was running on the nylon!!!! not even rubber! so lets see how long you can put it off for! ;P

Ever since I have had the car both front tires wear more on the outside than in the middle, drives me crazy. I am religous about checking tire pressures, I get the alignment checked every six months. The service guy at the dealer when I asked him told me it was due to the Quattro system and they saw it a lot but never elaborated...

weird..but its only my front passenger side.

same here...little strips of nylon are showing through the rubber....and its not even rubbing agains
