cam sensor code
 
Hi guys,
Anybody fix engine code 00838 cam position sensor? Looked on Ross-Tech and didn't see any guidance as to possible fixes. I had the Eban book but a computer crash took care of that.

That code doesn't show up as a Audi DTC in the Bentley Repair manual. You might be referencimg a SAE code. which are generic codes. Did you use VAG-COM or a generic scan tool?

I used the vag tool. I see someone else just posted about the same problem, I will follow that thread.
