45,000 Mile Service
I am going in for my last covered service next week. Is there anything I should mention to have them look at that they would pay to save me from paying for in the future?
Thanks GG 3.2 |
get a local person to do a vag-com scan and see if you have any codes. for example, only a vag-com scan will tell you if you have an a/c leak before your a/c quits on you.

You should have a local mechanic put it up on a lift and do a once over. I did and I discovered slight oil seepage on the back of the valve cover gaskets. I complained to the dealer that I was getting oil drips on the driveway, which I was not. While they said it was hard to believe that the slight seepage was dripping all the way to the driveway, they agreed to change the valve cover gaskets under warranty.
