Costco Pricing?

For the 2009 A5 does costco pricing exist, or is it still to early of a model?

Not sure how they work that, since the waiting lists are generally long.

On the '08s it was $500 off, but then the waiting list was so long that you may have ended up with an '09 and new terms. So on high demand cars, there may be only a token program. It's essentially designed to eliminate any haggling, not get you the lowest possible price.

Since there is little to no haggling on the A5/S5 best I can tell, it makes Costco moot. Find a reputable dealer and salesperson you like and deal directly with them rather than be locked into an unknown dealer. People are having enough problems getting information about their orders, that service should probably take precedent over what is a very tiny portion of the overall price.

I called them

They only work through 'supported' dealers. The 'Costco specialist' at that dealer e-mailed me asking for $2500 over MSRP.

I also went through my credit union's auto buying program, but the guy said he couldn't get any deals.

Don't waste your time with Costco. Just e-mail a ton of dealers around you, find someone who sounds reliable, and don't settle for anything over MSRP.

I don't believe you'll find any real "buying program" savings until supply catches up with demand.

Try cars.overstock.com or the amex car buyer program. Up-front pricing on the website.

Costco worked for me on my S5

Costco didn't make a deal with a dealer in LA County this year so I went up to Oxnard and bought my S5 up there. All I can say is it was VERY discounted. If you want a good deal give Costco a try. This is the 3rd car I've leased this way.
