SQ5 in winter mode with oem 20" titanium peelers

I bought Mark P's oem 20" titanium peelers that came off his TDI S-line and put some Blizzak DM-V1 on them.

Bring on the snow! SQ5 is ready.

Love those wheels. They look great. Two questions:

1. Are the center caps painted to match the wheels? Looks like they are. The Hartmann Audi center caps are not.

2. Isn't the wheel offset different on the SQ5's compared to the other Q5's?

The offset on the SQ5's 8.5" wheels are the same as the 8.5" wheels on any Q5. The 8.5" wide Q5 wheels are the 20" versions (which is what these peelers are). Here's a table I made previously:

The OEM Audi Center caps that I provided to LarryV may be a chameleon of sorts and seem to match whatever they are next to. They may be the same center caps I got from Hartmann on my wheels, not sure:

Looking closely, they seem to be lighter than the titanium peelers, and darker than the hyper silver wheels. However if you didn't consider such a comparison, I'd say they look like a great match on either. Perhaps helped visually by the chrome ring around the center cap that offers a visual separation of color so you can't directly compare it. Each has an Audi PN, so should be easy enough to confirm.

How do you like those Blizzak's? I have the LM-60's and was told from TireRack that your model would be noisier on the highway as they are geared more towards trucks.

Thanks Mark. I'd misread an earlier post about offsets. WRT the center caps, the Actuning sales guy said the center caps for the Hartmann wheels had chrome rings but were otherwise "not painted" and would need to be color matched by a paint shop. You say they'd work as-is though for anthracite or silver so that's good enough for me. Now I just need to wait another 3 months for them to get more wheel stock. Sorry for the hijack Larry.

your winter set-up is sweet! those are some of my favourite wheels.

No worries, you're not hijacking. Perfectly on-topic :)

To me I think the Audi center caps look lighter than the titanium finish on the oem peelers but are more of the same "hue" so they're a lot closer.

Hartmann's anthracite finish appears to be a different hue of grey and look darker, thus probably why the Audi caps seem to look much lighter... or it may be the wheel spoke design that's playing optical tricks with my mind. Hartmann provided me with the same Audi center caps as the ones I got with Mark P's peelers, for the anthracite replicas I bought from them for the RS7 to use as winter wheels. This anthracite finish are Hartmann's version of titanium. As you can see, there's more of contrast with the center caps, which isn't necessarily a bad thing...
