I believe that's one of two flood damaged and salvage titled A6 cars I found for sale recently. They would not come with a new car warranty.

This makes sense. Notice the "branded title"? That means the car has been totaled. That's the catch. Pass.

I do not understand what is the big deal with branded titles? A car could be salvaged (it is an example I ignore what happened with this one) for several reasons and one of them could be it was stolen.
Yes a salvaged titile car will be 40% less than a clear one, so you can get a perfect car for 40% less and when you sell it you just sell it for 40% less than what the clear title ones are selling for. In another countries they don't even have the "branded" title thing I think is a perfect opportunity (again I am not talking about this car) to get a nice car, use it and have less money out of pocket Some people paid so little money for "branded" cars that they used it for years and years and at the end when there is no value at all, and the depreciation took its toll, they just gave them away to charity. it is like buying the cheap house in the expensive neighborhood because it is "haunted" |
