2.0 TDi. Strange Noise
 

Can anyone help identify this part, because it has started making a strange buzzing noise when the ignition is turned on, and stays buzzing until approx 10 secs after key is turned off??

It has been recently serviced and I wonder if it just coincedence, or would any of the work performed at its service have any effect on this unit.

My A3 2.0 tdi also started making this noise on the same engine part (looks to me as the turbo). I'm thinking of being a malfunction EGR valve as with the engine stopped and just the ignition there's no way the turbo is working. Maybe someone with more knowledge could help us out

Well, after some searching i've found that most probably it's a IMF (intake mainfold flap) fault
