requesting diagram of engine cooling system(radiator hoses).
 

hi everyone, i am a newly registered member and i have a question about my wife's audi a6. her engine coolant is leaking from the rear center of the engine and her fuel/emission hose is disconnected. i jacked up the car to see where it belonged, but there is to many parts obstructing my view. can anyone provide a diagram of the engine cooling system? it would be very appreciated!

What engine do you have? 2.7 with a leak like that is usually the aux coolant pump.

i'm not 100% on the liters of the engine, but i do know that the pannel on the motor reads "v5". so, where in the engine bay can i find that aux coolant pump? is it by chance located next to the firewall? does the fuel/emissions hose connect to the pump? thank you for your help. great forum so far!

Here's a DYI description, about $900 at a dealer...replace the hoses while you're there...<ul><li><a href="https://www.audiworld.com/tech/eng69.shtml">Read this....</a></li></ul>

that would be my guess based on the description.

her car doesn't have that engine, but maybe the hose connections are the same.

So she has the 2.8....no turbos?
 

I don't think the 2.8 has the aux coolant pump...can anybody confirm?
