Question regarding iPhone Dock Connector to 3.5M adapter

All,

Can anyone recommend me a adapter to connect my phone (Samsung) to existing ipod connector in the glove compartment? I know there adapter online that uses 3.5MM port.

I found few online want to make sure if its compatible with my A5.

Take a look at this option (tune2air).
It allows you to access and play your phone's music library via bluetooth, so no need for pesky/ugly wires coming out of your glove box. I use this for my iphone 4, but some of the reviews on amazon suggest that people use this for samsung galaxy phones too. You should definitely look into this as opposed to using a hard wire connection.

Thanks. Can you confirm if that will work with other apps that has sound like Pandora, or you tube?

I can confirm that I've played Pandora in my car using tune2air, although I think you may have to use your phone to control the pandora app (as opposed to using the AMI). However, I usually either play music directly from my phone or listen to the radio.

if you do not mind the wire, you can get a 3.5 adaptor to plug into the MMI port in the glove box. I bought one on ebay last week for 10 bucks.
then get an extension line for a couple bucks so you can hold the phone in your hand instead of leaning over the console into the glove box each time you want to change the tunes
