Button, button, who's got (a climate control "auto") button?

Greetings,

I have a 2009 A6 Quattro in need of a Climate Control center, drivers side, "Auto" button.

I went to my local Audi dealer and found out buttons are not sold individually, but only as part of the entire climate control $850 assembly..... he suggested combing salvage yards and ebay.

Can anyone recommend an economical source for such a button?

Yeah your best best is to find a used one. I'm only seeing a replacement unit like you mentioned.

I think there is a thread 'Request edit rights' or something in which you have to request those previliges.
