A few of us were talking about a group buy on the VBOX PerformanceBox so I contacted VBOX USA to get the terms set up and I've posted everything below. Hopefully we can get enough interest and enough users to save ourselves a good amount of money. It looks like we can save over $110 each if enough people sign up. We have 5 commitments so far with 2-3 people that are 'maybes'.

Description:

Not only is the new PerformanceBox the most sophisticated Performance meter on the market, but it is also one of the simplest to use, with many features normally found only on professional test equipment. You can quickly measure the acceleration, braking and cornering performance of your car without having to set anything up beforehand, and there is no need to perform any calibration. Because PerformanceBox is based on GPS, you get so much more for your money than just a simple performance meter.

• 1-5 Sold: $500.00 each
• 5-29 Sold: $467.50 each
• 30-99 Sold: $440.00 each
• 100+ Sold: $412.50 each

• SD card logging. Use this to download data files without removing the PerformanceBox from your vehicle.

Terms of the Group Buy:

• Group buy will run from April 21, 2012 through April 30, 2012. The order will shipped on or about May 2, 2012. If we are really close to getting to the next price level, the group buy can be extended a few more days.
• To join the group buy, you will have to pay here. You won't be charged anything, but the money will be held by MassDrop. Once the group buy is over, then you will be charged the final amount. This is so that if the price falls, you will only be charged the minimum amount. (All payments are processed through PayPal for safety)
• There are no geographical restrictions on this group buy. Anybody can sign up through the website and shipping is to anywhere in the world (additional costs apply).
• If you are in the United States, total shipping cost will be $30. If you are outside of the United States, you will pay higher shipping plus any customs that your country requires.
