How to fix broken glove box?
The right side of my glove box door broke off yesterday at the hinge. Is there an easy way to fix this? Can I just replace the door or do I need the entire unit? Any idea where I could find one of these?
Thanks! |
you can replace the door, 2 pins hold it in & swap the lock/latch, change the little brake/shock

This might help

first sit on your hand until you can't feel it..

wow this is like deja-deja-deja vu.
Including myself, there have been about 3 or 4 people that had the same problem in the last few weeks.
The basic fix is to replace the glovebox door and the shock. It's not that hard to do, but the door itself is quite expensive. (between $250-$300 bucks). If your car is still under original warranty, then it should be covered. If you're under CPO, like me, you're SOL. |
you could try to repair it by using glue and a long screw
