This gentlemen (CA plates beginning with 5MM) took the full-scratch option at a local Penryn, CA 76 station this afternoon. Santorin Blue by the looks of it after the wash. Sorry about the pathetic cell phone picture. I used the zoom feature. I thought that exiting the car while "on deck" for my spray wash to get a closeup would freak the guy out. /dan |
maybe it belongs to his/her ex...

You SURE it's an RS6? Looks like it's sitting pretty high to me.
|
and Fisher-Price wants their camera phone back. just FYI.
|
I use a carwash all the time.....risk is minimal.....just make sure the 'guy' guides you
so you don't smash your rims....
Mike |
I sometime run to the do it yourself...and just wash it off myself with water...no soap
but mostly to keep the wheels nice and clean. With two coats of wax on the car and wheels...not much dirt sticks to the paint.

Doesn't Really Care.

I care, but now I live in a rental two bedroom and the closest outside SPIGOT is 200
yards away, dragging a hose is a pain in the ass and I have very little time for car washing these days, busy busy busy...
Besides the greatest risk to the car is not the carwash but rather the road debris and OTHER drivers.....so I still park defensively....and avoid **** on the road... Mike Gotta love those DARN retread tires ripping of 18 wheelers at 65 mph...... Mike.... |
Mike, you're killing me with teh spelling!
|
you mean truckers drive 65 where you live? On I-85 they drive 80.....and throw tires.
Yes, you are correct about having to lug a hose, not fun when you have to drag all the cleaning supplies out and a hose to boot!
