Trunk will not open

I have a 2011 Audi A5 and the trunk lid/button does not open the trunk. The car door trunk unlock button works as well as holding the trunk unlock button on my car keys.

And yes, I checked that valet mode is off, it's just the boot lid button that doesn't work.

I recently got my rear camera replaced because it was glitching, and coincidentally it's attached to the boot lid button so perhaps there's a chance that they didn't hook everything up properly?

There is a chance they didn't reattach all properly (even tho' the camera line is fiber optic).

Did you confirm that you are first unlocking the vehicle?

Yes, I unlock the vehicle initially and I also pressed the trunk unlock button but the boot lid button doesn't work.

You may also want to check the setting in the MMI. I mucked up mine when I first got the car by switching it off in there.
