new owner radio problems
 

First le tme start off by saying hello to the world of audi.

I think im cleaning up alot of the previous owners mistakes have already found quite a few rig ups lol but hey not everyday you can trade a 2000 subaru legacy for an 2001 audi tt225.
So on to my problem the car didnt come with a radio from what the current owner told me the previous owner had an aftermarket unit in the car. He included the a/m harness which appears to be for the nonbose concert unit not sure how he managed to use that to wire in his head unit. But the problem I'm having after pluggin in a stock(bose concert 1 tapedeck) head unit the cd changer made its intial powering up disc loading que and for the first time in owning any german car i didnt need to enter a code but alas my problem was not solved I only had sound from the dash center speaker. I figured i could toy with the fade/balance balance accomplishes nothing and after pressing fade the radio displays fade off I havent been able to locate the amp but assume if center is playing its turning on. I tryed the fuses no wires look broke or burned. any ideas on what the problem could be car is equipped with bose concert so i didnt think a radio incompatability would be the issue radio is 00 car is 01 doubt they changed the harness. any way any help ideas would be appreciated cuz im at a loss on this type of system or possible what the previous owner may have done to wire in his system
