5 brake questions (rear rotor size 2002 A4 B6, flush vs bleed, ABS cycling, oem fluid, slide pins)

1 - What is the stock rear rotor size for 2002 A4 B6 1.8TQ 5speed. I tried measuring last night but to get a better measurement I think I need to remove the wheel 245mm & 255mm are the choices here. I wanted to order this today

2 - Flush vs Bleed -- for flushing do I just keep feeling the reservoir with new fluid and use the power bleeder until new fluid comes out of the bleeder tube? then move to the next wheel?

3 - If am flushing the system with a different fluid, do I have to cycle the ABS?

4 - if yes on 3, I dont have a vag com so I wont be able to cycle the ABS, what is the stock fluid for the 2002 A4 B6 1.8TQ 5speed.

5 - grooving in the slide pins -- is this most likely a problem at 55k miles , should I already have 2 handy?

Thanks (from a noob in cars, who learned everything so far from this forum)

a few answers:

1) should be 245mm, but best to check existing rotor to be sure

2) yes. best to remove old fluid from reservoir (turkey baster) first. power bleeder will keep reservoir filled for you

3) best to do so, but not the end of the world if you don't

4) see above

5) I haven't replaced mine in 125k. Just clean/re-lube

1.8T=245mm, 3.0L=255mm...

with some exceptions on later 1.8Ts, no?

My 04.5 has 245mm rotors

It's very few cars with the 255mm rears, I bet they just ran out of parts at the factory for the last few builds :)

I thought it was very early 1.8Ts with the exceptions.

Yes

Some late '04's and '05's had the 255mm rear rotors, but there was no rhyme or reason to which cars had them
