Started my 2004 Audi 2.0 TDi with not enough oil! Now it won't start!
 

Hey guys,

Ok here's what happened, was servicing my car and as I was putting in oil it started raining really hard... So rushed to finish and then it started hailing, so tried starting the car to move it under some cover... The car started fine but then about 5 - 10 seconds later it just died, like the fuel supply got cut off. So eventually abandoned the car after all the drama from the sky went back to check whats up! Noticed that I'd only put in about 2.5 litres of oil, and when i tried starting the car again the oil light came on... So put in the right amount of oil and disconnected the battery over night and when i tried starting it again it just doesn't want to, the starter motor tries but the engine doesn't kick in!

Please could the experts give me some advise on what could have been damaged, if its hard for me to fix? Because really don't want to send it in and get ripped off by workshops if I can fix it myself!
