why would you go from 8 piston to 6 piston brakes?

Did you also instal the exhaust system? How much time and $ required for total job?

It doesn't mean because you have 8 pistons that it is better. It's how the the calipers are ...
 

Designed and work as a unit that counts. Don't forget they are most likely a lot lighter too.

Alex, I see you are back from your holidays. What's the brake system in the rear?
