Do wheel spacers effect alignment?

I posted on the wheel and tire forum with no results. Hopefully some of you using spacers can answer this one. I've ordered 15mm(F) and 20mm(R). Any ideas.

Not really.....>

Though Rear Camber may be slightly affected... Not a problem if you have camber correction parts

I don't yet, but KMACs are my list of "gotta gets".

Some of the things on my list have moved up in priority faster than I expected. The chip was first in line, but I found wheels on sale so I got them first. Now I'm having to get various other things just to make the wheels work. I now somewhat wish I had just stuck with the chip first.

Also, why is the rear affected but not the front? Is it because of the 5mm added thickness?

It's the geometry of the rear (on Quattros anyway)...>>

You didn't say if you're dropped or not, but if you do the Kmacs will definitely have to go on the short list!

Wheel Geometry changes in the rear are much greater than the front. Going 1 inch lower in the back results in about a -.75 degree change. On the front it is minimal. Mhen you move the fulcrum arm out (ie: spacers) this is accentuated a bit, though not much.

Read what happens to camber when you drop here..

Not dropped yet...

That is also on my list and the KMAC's are on there as needed at the same time or prior to the springs/struts. After installing the wheels I was ready to move them ahead of the chip as well, because the new 19" wheels make the car look even more like it's on stilts. However, I think I'll still put the chip next.

Thanks for all the help.
