How to replace Torque Converter :/
So 6 days ago I bought an Audi! 2002 Audi A6 Quattro. I went throught the car, it was checked, test drove it for a good 20 minutes and had no problems, sweet deal!
I now have 3 check engine lights but 1 I know needs to be dealt with now. P0741, torque converter lock up or something of that sort. How do you replace the torque converter, I need a step by step guide, a link to a page or whatever as I plan to do this service myself if possible.. I am 19 and in college, I can't afford to pay a service shop $2000+ to fix this car, I don't even have that much money and need to get to class!! Thank you. |

here: http://www.ross-tech.com/vag-com/ and here: https://www.audiworld.com/forums/a6-s6-c5-platform-discussion-7/ A 2002 is a C5. Best of luck, and maybe the '97 Malibu will get you there n the meantime ? -Jake |
Your 2002 A6 is a C5 platform (1998 thru 2004). This forum is for the C6 A6 platform, which is 2005 thru 2011). Post on the C5 forum, and also ID the engine you have.
