SQ5

I noticed today that the SQ5 rear view mirror doesn't have the compass on it. My '12 Q5 had it. Find it strange that they would take this feature away. Can someone confirm that I'm not the only one with this.

Weird. Per Audiusa.com: Auto-dimming interior rear view mirror with digital compass

It can be turned on and off... I forget where. I would start in the car settings in the MMI.

I saw that on the Audi site as well. I think I'm going to have to call my dealer tomorrow and inquire about this.
Wish I noticed it when I took delivery.

My SQ5 has a fully working compass in the mirror. I haven't tried switching it off. Steve

I will go through MMI tomorrow and look at the mirror to see if there is a place to turn on the digital compass.

My SQ5 has the digital compass in the mirror. I didn't even know it could be turned off, which is something I'd probably do since I have no use for it.

Mine has it, and there's no way that I know of to turn it off.

There is an on/off switch on the mirror, but that is to disable the auto-dimming feature, not the compass.

90% of the time I don't even notice the compass is there.

+1 Mine is there and works well!

Yep, it should be standard.
