New wheels

1 Attachment(s)
Got home today and these were waiting for me. Thanks to Juggernaut for a great deal. Now I just have to wait for spring.

Any advice on wheel protectant? I did buy new brake pads from Centric and will get those put on before these wheels. Hopefully they cut down on the dust. Want to keep these bad boys clean.

did you buy them new or used??

if used, could you PM me how much. Im looking at a set of used HREs and want to get an idea of how much they go for?

Wheel protectant

I'm curious what you decide on wheel protectant - I've seen some folks here talking about Opti-Coat, others Plastidip, something along those lines seems like a good idea!

Great choice, look great!

I'm not aware of people using plastidip to protect the wheels but rather to change the appearance of the wheels. Most folks seem to be applying a sealant, wax, or ArmorAll's spray on product.

Ah thanks, that makes more sense - seems I saw it in a number of signatures and misunderstood the intent. When I googled it, I wasn't finding a wheel protectant, which makes perfect sense now ;)

I did wax my wheels when I first switched to them, but never got motivated to remove them and redo it later :(

Me == lazy.

There is a clear plastidip that may work for protecting your wheels.
