Aux input hook up with a stock radio
 

Hey everyone I'm new to the whole audi world and I just bought a 2000 audi a6 2.7t and I was wondering if there is any way to make an auxillilry input to hook up to the stock radio with out buying one of those adapters that cost like $100. Is there a way do do it with out one?

No.

I spent quite a while messing around with this recently. The best way is definitely to use an adapter like the connects2 or the Blitzsafe. See my somewhat recent and very long thread on this here:

Personally, I used the Blitzsafe one and paid about $75 for it. It's definitely worth the price, and can be easily installed in about 15 minutes.
