Question about my 5K service
Hi, I have my 3.0T Q5 for exactly one year now and my odometer is at 4K now...I know that's very low milege for me because I don't drive the car often. My question is should I schedule my 5K now or wait? I know that after one year, the 5K service is no longer free but I am more concern about if I will hurt the engine if I wait until it reaches 5K miles or should I do my first oil change ASAP, thanks.

I'd schedule...oil still gets old sitting in your engine, especially if it's still the original oil.
Yes I would have it done. If not there might be warranty issues down the road they would not cover. 1000 miles is not going to hurt one way or the other.
Yes. Do it. They did the 5K on my S5 at 7 months and only 3800 miles. They'll also do tire rotation.
The 5k service is for whatever occurs first, one year or 5k. So yes, have it done. Since your Q5 is one year old, there should be a service reminder on the DIS.

Thanks for the advise, I will schedule it soon as possible.
