2001 A4 thermostat location
I have a 2001 A4 1.8t that needs a thermostat replacement. From what I have read the thermostat housing for the b5 A4's are located near the oil pan under the car. I can not find it under there. Is it possible the t-stat is located under the alternator/throttle body similar to the b6 models? Any help appreciated. Thank You.

Here's a DYI for the 2002 VW Passat 1.8T. http://www.passatworld.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=312212 It might be in the same place. I have a 2001 A4, but mine is a 2.8L, so the stat is a big job. on my 02 passat 1.8, much easier. |
