Suspension Settings on MMI - missing.

Hi all,

The "CAR" button wonīt show the suspension setting options on the MMI.

Itīs an A8 D3, 2003.
Adaptive Air Suspension - Sport (2MA)

I have VCDS but donīt know how to activate the menu. Have seen some threads saying that:

- Go to the [07-Control head] module.
- Go to Adaptation.

And then??? Which channell and what new value to put in?

Iīve checked the Gateway > Installed List and if Leveling Module is checked. It is!

Help is MUCH appreciated!!

Thanks for answering!

I have the hidden menu activatet, but nothing activates when I check the air suspension box and accept changes.

Furthermore, I have the Sport Suspension PLUS menu showing with the choices Comfort - Dynamic - Sport. But all greyed out. This appeared when I went into [07] => adaptation => channel 1 => entered new value: 64. Before that there was no suspension menu showing at all.

Thought that I have to use VCDS to get the right menu to start with... I donīt know where to go from here actually...

so youve done both of these

Car Menu Maske > Car View options >

there is an option called Air Suspension, should be checked

plus the vcds 07 adaption

do you have any scan errors on vcds?

oh just remembered the menu will appear and be greyed out - you need to physically reboot the MMI for it to work, not just turn it on and off

Iīve done the VCDS 07 adaptation channel 8 - new value 1. Iīve checked the Air Suspension option in Car View Options. There are no fault codes AND I have rebooted the MMI tel+big knob+upper right...

Still, something must be wrong since I donīt have the "Air Suspension - Sport" menu showing. Instead I have the Sport Suspension Plus...

Do you know which value to put in 07 adaptation Channel 1?

Oh, my bad! When I go into Car View Options and Air Suspension, there are a number of options attached to this choice (all greyed out and no possibility to change). The one that is checked sais v>v_thr. Some of the other options are: "default", "kl15 aus", "Stillstand", "Disclaimer", kl15+vv, kl15+ss and similar...

Hidden Manu > APG... > Air Suspension should be checked too.
