'14 RS5 Cabriolet - clear bra & tint

i finally got my new suzuka gray Audi RS5 Cabriolet earlier this week after ordering it in mid-June. yesterday i had the X-Pel clear bra applied as well as window tint.

i also decided on the comfort seats and am not disappointed. i was getting nervous after reading some of the opinions on them. when i ordered the vehicle, i figured that since my back sweats a lot in the heat and since this is a convertible, that comfort seats were the way to go - even if they're not as "pretty" as the sport seats with the RS5 logo :)

Congrats! Can you tell us more about the clear bra? Can you actually notice it? What did they do with parking sensors and headlamp washers?

i snapped these photos today (cloudy day)
i did the full XPEL clear bra install and that includes the front and rear bumpers. the headlight washers and all sensors are covered as well.

you can't notice any difference except for the frame on either side of the windshield. naturally, the finish looks like a matte finish. but with the clear bra it shines like clear-coat paint. the installer said if i prefer the matte finish, i can always remove the clear bra from those pillars.

the car is GREAT! absolutely a pleasure to drive.

the installer said he recommends XPEL for the lighter paint because it resists discoloring slightly better, and Suntek for the darker paints. XPEL comes with a 10 year warranty, SunTek comes with 5.
