MAF fault code 16486, need some advice please!...

I just logged a 16486 Mass Air Flow Sensor (G70): Signal too Low code. I got the MAF replace under waranty about 7 months ago. The car still pulls ok, seems like a bit of hesitation but it doesnt pull as hard as it has in the past. I dont htink its in limp mode but its not as fast as it shoudl be.

The link below is a link to a psot i found. THis guy had the exact (almost word for word) problem i had. HEard a poping noise, no power, then power back on with CEL.

I have replaced my TTB with Samco. Could it have been becasue i havent cleaned my forge BPV in a while?

Thanks guys

no reason why this MAF isn't failing as well. are you under warranty?

Mine blew after driving 5 miles on a new one which was replaced under warranty!! more...

unplug the Maf sensor wire and see if it smooths out...if it does then time to get a new MAF!
