I love my SQ5. Makes me smile every time I sit behind the wheel. It is, by far, my most favorite vehicle I have ever owned.

I'm certainly loving mine as well; however, only about 1K miles so far. I came from a Mazda CX-9 which is an excellent vehicle but was too large for current needs. (Have you ever noticed that the smaller the children, the more space you need? Pak 'n' Plays, diaper bags, strollers, etc.). Mine are now 13 and 9 and we fit perfectly in the Q5. The 40/20/40 split is perfect as my wife's skis (I am a snowshoer) will fit perfectly in the middle and we have plenty of room for the rest of the gear. I've done a baker's dozen list of cosmetic mods and am waiting for the next Stasis sale to replace the suspension. I think the lower stance, tighter springs and stiffer roll bar will really bring out the best in my ride!

And with 4 engine choices in the US, you can trade-in and get a different experience. I went from 2010 3.2 to 2014 TDI. Loved the 3.2 but I love the TDI even more.
Great vehicle. |
I'm certainly satisfied. Loved my '10 so much that I bought a '14 :)

I bought it because my wife wanted it... I wanted an allroad. I'm completely satisfied with it after a year of ownership. At first, I wanted to get rid of it because it was having steering issues, but it was finally fixed with the update. In addition, I recently had an allroad as a loaner and I realized the Q5 is simply a better vehicle to own when comparing utility and ride.

Many of us have swapped pre-face lift Q5s - I traded my 2 year old '11 3.2L for a '13 3.0T a year ago. Couldn't be happier!

Agree
I've been driving over 40 years and have had dozens of cars, including M-B M class, Cadillac SRX and Escalade, Infiniti Q, but I have to say my 2010 Q5 is in the top three (with 1985 Saab 900T and 1969 GTO). It took a little while to grow on me, but the best evidence is every time I get a loaner from my dealer (usually either an A4, A6 or Q5, all with low mileage), then get back into my car, mine feels just as new and tight and nice to drive as the one I dropped off. I think that says it all.
