2013 S4 Carbon inlays
Anybody know if selecting the option of the carbon inlays will also come with piano black center console & instrument panel surrounding or is that only for the stainless steel inlay?
Thanks! |
The order guide indicates only the SS inlays come with the piano black pieces.

Thanks. Anybody with picture of the instrument panel area for the two?
Brushed Aluminum / Carbon Fiber I went with the standard Aluminum Trigon trim on my MY2013 S4 order. I plan to get my trim from oCarbon later. |

Thanks! While I've loved my Carbon Atlas, I've just ordered a 2013 with the SS Mesh -- initially to get that Piano Black surround, but also to mix it up a bit. FWIW, I was always a fan of the SS Mesh itself (really elegant in person -- pictures don't do it justice). In the 2010-2012 models, the Piano Black seemed like an afterthought IMHO (because it was only around the center console). Since the 2013 interior employs Piano Black in various spots around the driver, the SS Mesh option now feels "just right" to me. Seems to be the most cohesive inlay scheme in terms of how the materials work together with the other bits in the car. Basically, with rich, dark, liquid Piano Black enveloping the driver, and cool, matted stainless mesh wrapping around the passengers. Can't wait to see it in person. Nicely done Audi! :D |
