help no heat!

It's starting to get irritating, specially since its been really cold lately. There's no heat on my heater. Car is a 01 2.8 30v I have drained and filled the coolant about 10 times. While filling I Have done the steps to bleed the air out of system using the bleader screw below the p/s pump, behind driver cyl head, and the heater core hose hole. Years ago when I got the car I did a coolant flush and bleed the air when filling it with out any issues. Now I dont know what im doing wrong. I have tried raising the coolant reservour and no luck. Car temp gets normal. Im positive is not the thermostat. I have also canceled the heater core- gone to car wash- then used high pressure gun to flush. Still no luck. My question is there a valve on a heater hose that might be stuck closed? The driver side hose on the heater core gets really hot while the passenger side is slightly warm. I have bleed air on the heater hose with no luck.

My question is there a heater valve on the system that im missing or most likely a bad heater core? sucks not able to enjoy the car on the winter. Thanks.

VAG-COM to set adaptation, check temp, output tests?

The heater core is bad. I have posted about it in several other heater core posts. Super common on A4s and Passats. They have what looks like noodles inside that pack full of debris, even flushing it doesnt help, your just seeing the 2-3 tubes inside that are not clogged up. The tubes run end to end so flushing is pointless most of the time. You can check faults, if there is not a error for the temp flap then the core is bad.

I dont have vagcom, when giving the engine higher rpms from 1500 to 2500, it tends to blow hotter, just not on idle.

Classic sign of bad heater core.

hello, i saw your post about a bad heater core. when you say check faults are you referring to this? https://www.audiworld.com/tech/int6.shtml if so what code should i check. i tried 1 and got a value of 0.0 i have no heat no matter how high the rpm, no smell of coolant, and both lines to the core are hot, its a 2001 audi a4. is there any way it could be a blend door?
