Cool! Didn't know the Quattro system had been around for such long time to be honest. I thought it was a technology of the late '90s :o

Quatro History
I bought an 86 GT Coupe while living in Germany for 18000 dm. The Quattro was 35,000dm. At the time I did not understand what they were as there was very little advertising informing people about what was under the hood. Loved mine, dove it for 8 years. The only problem I ever had was the RH front CV joint went 4-5 times. No idea why and the dealers had no idea. The 5 Cyl. engine was a dream, never used a drop of oil and sounded beautiful.

had a 1982 Coupe (cousin to Quattro) for 225000 miles when sold! Great car needed more power though
