New (used) S4
 

Hello all-

I have been trolling this site as a guest for some time while conducting a used car search. I have settled on and purchased a 2004 S4 in black on black. I am very excited to be an S4 owner. This is my third Audi after multiple VW products. I had the local used car dealer assist me in my search. We found my S4 tucked into an auction lot in central California with a bad clutch and flywheel. We bought it and had it trucked to the Seattle area where his mechanic got the S4 back on the road! Now we are dialing in some smaller problems.....

We have three warning lights that continue to baffle us. The Traction light, the ABS light and the AirBag light. All come on at random but do not extinguish. The codes suggest a bad Emergency Battery from the Telematics system. These lights seem inconsistent with that code. My mechanic is not an Audi guy, more of a generalist and electronics are not his strength. Any help or ideas would be welcome.
