Acceleration hesitation issue

Hello. I just bought a 2001 A6 2.7t Quattro and I am experiencing sporadic acceleration. Sometimes the car will accelerate just fine at full throttle and more often then not it will accelerate fine and then the RPM's will stop and accelerate slowly. Feels like it hesitates after a few second of acceleration. The rpms climb fast then stop and climb slow and it sounds like the car is trying but the turbos cut out or something. Anyone know what could be the cause of this? I guess I can try and video it next time I drive the car.

Boost leak ..........any codes, is the cel light on?

There are no lights on. I haven't checked for codes, I have only had it for two days. Car runs fine other then poor acceleration.

Scan the car for codes. That's your step 1, always.

Does your check engine light work, when you turn the ignition on (but don't start it)? Some have taped over the light.

A couple videos of what I am experiencing. One is accelerating while moving, the other is accelerating from a stand still. Does this seem like a Diverter Valve issue? I heard this is a common problem. I also hear a whistle, does not sound like the normal turbo sound. Also I took the main inlet Y pipe from on top of the motor off and there is oil residue inside. What would be the cause of this? Thank you for your input.

Sorry posted two of the same video. This is the one accelerating while moving.

nevermind, I see that it's an auto from the cluster.

Both videos are at full acceleration.
