Audi S5 in the works?
 

<center><img src="http://www.auto-motor-und-sport.de/sixcms/media.php/20/AUDICoupe_355.jpg"></center><p>The A5 would, in our opinion, be a work of beauty. Positioned as a big coupe - supposedly based on an A6 chassis - it would compete directly with offerings from Lexus and BMW.

There is, of course, also talk of an A7... that said we were just in Ingolstadt and people there were talking A5, not A7.

The so called S5 would be, we think, aligned against the M6. Checking a source today it sounds like this could definitely be a legit offering in the future.

Jason... in the March 06 issue of Popular Mechanics they said the A5 was a go for 2007

and was being based on the Nuvolari chassis concept car that had such a great reception at the auto shows.

I *sat* in the Nuvolari last week.... drool

Any pics??? looks like a great car... if they do a S5 I think I will definitely be trading the R32

But I will say that that car is one of the finest looking modern Audis I have ever, ever seen. Quite literally beautiful and I am very hopeful they do an S5.
