Quattro Gecko/Lizard Emblem?
 

I was wondering if any of you have the quattro gecko/lizard emblem on any of your Audi's?
If so, where did you put it? Do you have pictures?

Also kind of interested to hear if anyone knows the backstory behind this little guy. I know he is supposed to represent the "sticky feet" of a lizard being like quattro, but that's about it.

I think it has something to do with the 25th anniversary or something to that effect. not 100% sure...

looks way too busy on the back there. The less badge the better.

Audi actually put that on their cars? If you look at that photobucket stream in the link above, they show the badge with it's packaging. Doesn't look like an Audi part to me.

I agree w/ Mellow. Although the Gecko is supposed to be a sign of good luck. Maybe those with plastic water pumps should get one from Audi to place on their engine covers until enough water pumps get built. :D

I'd put this sticker on the back of my car before the Gecko...

My good old B5 S4, what a fine ride, sigh... I have not put a dive sticker yet on this car though.

The Gecko was a 2-page cover spread in the Audi Magazine Canada, 4/2010

The feet represent the 1986 Torsen Diff

The brain represents 2010 torque vectoring

The torso represents the 2010 crown gear diff

The spine represents the "combination of mechanical and electronic systems..."

The tail represents the 2008 Sport Diff
