Annoying creaking sound when opening glove box

I have an '08 A6 which developed a rather annoying creaking sound every time the glove box opens. Sounds like a creepy old door in a Michael Jackson Thriller video.

Sprayed lubricant on the hinges and didn't do a thing. Not sure what to do at this point!

Audi issued a TSB for this issue a while back.

Same issue. I have lubed everything but it looks like you have to remove the glove box in order to figure out the creak. The TSB seems like it's for dash creak. Not the creaking sound made when the glove box is opening.
