Take a look at this option (tune2air).
It allows you to access and play your phone's music library via bluetooth, so no need for pesky/ugly wires coming out of your glove box. I use this for my iphone 4, but some of the reviews on amazon suggest that people use this for samsung galaxy phones too. You should definitely look into this as opposed to using a hard wire connection. |

I can confirm that I've played Pandora in my car using tune2air, although I think you may have to use your phone to control the pandora app (as opposed to using the AMI). However, I usually either play music directly from my phone or listen to the radio.

if you do not mind the wire, you can get a 3.5 adaptor to plug into the MMI port in the glove box. I bought one on ebay last week for 10 bucks.
then get an extension line for a couple bucks so you can hold the phone in your hand instead of leaning over the console into the glove box each time you want to change the tunes check this out http://www.ebay.com/itm/AUDI-2009-up-A3-A4-A6-A8-Q5-Q7-AMI-MMI-to-3-5mm-AUX-ADAPTER-4F0051510F-6-Metal-/321274285907?pt=US_Car_Audio_Video_Interconnect_Cables&hash=item4acd708f53#ht_2850wt_1107 |
