Drive thru Car wash for convertible ??
Any comments on washing a convertible using a drive thru car wash? I had my 2014 convertible for 1 month and it really does need a wash. I hope I dont have to spend extra cash on hand wash.

You can, but best choose for a non-wax progam, since this can affect the roof material in the long run (depending on the wax type used).

I did a touchless car wash a year ago and found water in the car after (both sides), so opted not to do that again. |

There is a downside to this, and that is that touchless car washes usually spray the water much more powerfully, and as a result, the water gets into the car when the water sprays right at the seal between the window and the soft top.

thanks for suggestions, I wasnt aware of touchless. If I had more time Id hand wash, but I do own 3 cars and 2 jobs and a family, so it has to be a car wash for me.

Maybe stating the obvious but, it might be a good idea to keep the top closed. :)

I've been taking my vehicles to a local car wash for years, to include my 2 cabs. It is not touchless. Both of my Audi's are black, and there are no signs of any wear and tear on the finish.
