Audi 2002 A4 ABs and back wheels locked?
 

I just installed a new starter and it works, but for some reason the ABS light has come on and when I try to move it the back wheels seems locked in place, the front wheels do move and spin tho. Any ideas why or how the back wheels dont move?

Well its real common for stuck parking brake cables and sizes calipers. ABS light may be on because theres no signal coming in from the rear brakes when it thinks the cars moving.

The problem is the car doesnt move, when I turn it on the front wheels spin the rear wheels seem to be locked in place not allowing the car to move.

Well yes i understand that. Im just saying ABS light is on because the car sees no signal from the rear wheels but it sees the front wheels spinning thinking its moving so it sets faults. Just saying thats why the ABS light is on not that the abs has anything to do with it.

Like i said. Stuck parking brake cables or sizes calipers.

Hey thanks for the help it was freezing the last for night just needed to bang the brakes free works like a charm now.
