***Hartford area GTG - Wednesday, September 27th ***
 

Less than one day to go before the GTG at Margaritas Mexican Restaurant and Watering Hole in East Hartford, and we've already got 53 Audi fanatics signed up! This location is located right off I-84. Last time we had 38 plus folks show up....so we're moving in the right direction.

What's a GTG without some type of award? Better yet, what's the point of having awards if you don't have anything to give away? So, <b> Hoffman Audi in East Hartford </b> has very, very graciously supplied us with numerous Audi themed prizes for our GTG. So get your pride and joy ready to snap `em up.

I'd like to point out that <b> Hoffman Audi in East Hartford </b> has been so generous with their prize donation, that we're able to double the number of categories for the GTG.....so off to the updated list!

Hartford GTG Awards:
* Car I'd like to take home tonight - Audi Sport License Plate Surround, key chain, valve stem caps
* Most "Bling" - Chrome Audi "rings" front license plate
* Cleanest Car - Audi Sunglasses
* Dirtiest Car - Audi Leather CD Case
* Best Performance Modification or Upgrade - Audi Cap/Audi Sport Thermos
* Car most likely stopped by police after the GTG - Audi Cap/Pen (to sign the ticket)

Here's how we'll decide the awards:
1) I need 6 judges who will judge the cars between 6pm and 7pm - please volunteer by emailing me at gbw50@cox.net
Here's the timeline for the evening:
2) Bring a document with your screen name (list below) and what you've done to your car so we can evaluate modifications or upgrades...the judges need to know...leave it on your dash
3) The Awards will be distributed between 7:15 and 7:30
4) Join us at Margaritas!

We will park in the section of the parking lot furthest away from the restaurant, on the right (east) side as you pull in. Please don't park near the restaurant, we don't want to impede any customers.

It's getting tough to find a place to meet, so after the GTG show you appreciation and join us for dinner at Margaritas....

I will be in the midst of a regulatory examination, and my wife will be studying hard for her comprehensive exams (doctoral degree), so very unlikely.
