Nav MAP version

Got my Q5 last week and this is my Nav version. Does this seem to be the latest one (for North America)? and is there a way to decode the date on the versioning.

HNav_US_PO118_D1

8R0060884AD NAR 5.5.5

Also, I've seen other thread on the topic of map update cost, but when I got the car I asked again if the map update were free and I was told "yes" and this is done while I get my service done.

Go back to the same person that told you "yes" and ask him/her again. If they tell you "yes" again then ask them to kindly put it in writing. Only then will you get an answer that you can count on...and it won't be the one you want.
FWIW, I hope I'm mistaken.

It does not appear to be the latest version for NA. On Audi Germany web page you can find update to 8R0060884AL. And it is not free...

My MY-2011 that I took delivery of 10 months ago is:

Software version:
HNav_US_PO114_D1

Nav. database version:
8R0060884P NAR 5.4.7

Yours is higher version than mine.
How many updates are there above mine? I haven't even had the thing a year!

I just had my 2009 q5 Navigation system updated by my dealer about 2 weeks ago. The dealer charged a total of $349 to do this (including labor).

My software version: HNav_US_K0110_1_D1

Nav database version: 840060884AL NAR 5.5.6

Photos below...

We had a special situation in St. Louis where shortly after I purchased my q5 one of our main highways completely shut down for 1 year to be replaced all the way to the dirt. So my maps were obsolete almost immediately after purchasing the system.

It's 315.00 per update. Not really worth it. I have 5.1.1 and I have not had any issues.
