Default I have $50,000 to spend on an engine and transmission, going into a b5 a4 what do i do?

I want this f*^&ing car to be so fast the front tires lift off the ground like that awd drag porsche i saw a while back. I want to keep it in a b5 a4 body and it has to be quattro dont care if I use some kind of 911 mid engine awd setup, but above all The thing HAS to run 800+hp and run in the 9's any suggestions? The site below is the body im going to use.

http://www.cardomain.com/ride/780860</a

Default Ok

Good luck with that.

800hp isn't going to get you into the 9's in a A4, maybe 800whp.

Just over 600whp and I run mid to high 10's.

Default I will sell you my long block for 45K$ and throw in my 034 setup. You can pick up an rs2 tranny

The block I have is able to hold 800 crank HP. It is the only VW/Audi block (4 cyl) I know of that can live @ thiis level. You would have to convert the head from hydraulic lifters to solid lifters. Head is fully ported and polished and has had considerable work done on the water and oil passages. I currently run a GT30R turbo that has gone 478whp. going to a GT40r and solid lifters should easily take you to 600whp and that will be around 800 crank. Go to my picture poster from the signature to see the engine, etc. I will also include the dry sump system.

OR

I will sell the entire car for 70k$ (non-negotiable). This includes. Above engine/rs2 tranny w/4:1 center diff/Sachs racing FW and clutch/Custom driveshaft, 4.11 gears and rear LSD. Stearn diff bushings and power ring. JHM short shifter, and bushings, 034 motorsports street density motor mounts and tranny mounts, CPP and Stasis control srms, tie rod ends and sway links (everything they make but the lower control arms which have a solid bearing I felt was too stiff for the street). HSport front and rear extreme performance sways. K&W variant 2 coil overs. 3.5" downpipe and 3" exhaust mandrel bent and hand made. Full 2L VW ABA tall block with Pauter rods/J&E Pistons/Mahle friction and temp coatings. Fully balanced thruout. Piston rings lowered, perfect circle rings, oversized wrist pins. Full instrumentation - all stock gauges + EGT/Boost, Oil/fuel pressure (dual guages by SPA), and an Innovate widebad A/F gauge which also provides info to the 034 ECU. This block has had billet maincaps cut into the block, a full engine girdle ( done right and connected to maincaps and block), etc. 750 cc RC injectors, and too much more to list. If you truly want the only 4 banger capable of the power levels you mentioned and built to maintain these high level for a good while, this is the engine, and the car was built to run endurance races, but is a daily driver and a lot of fun to drive. Acceleration is scary fast now, with a gt40r I am not sure I want to be in it. Contact me if you wish more info. This is the ultimate A4 20valve I have seen. Well over 100k$ invested. I want a Cayman S to play with.

Default Even a well tuned GT35r will produce 600+whp and can do that before 8k rpm

so solid lifters wont be needed at that point. That is what I am running in my car and making about 630whp.

Just buy an S4, and S3+ it. wont run in the 9's but it will better than dumping a ton of money into a decade old car.
