EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET'S ALIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIVE........
sort of.
Fired it up at 10:30pm for the first time. Checked and it had 50psi of oil pressure at idle, revved it up between 2k-3k RPM and it had 70psi.
Cool.
Let it run for a minute, varying the RPM's between 2k-3k rpms. After it was warm, it only had 30psi of oil pressure at idle, but that sounds about right.
I then ran it up to 5k, let it back down, and it died.....
and wouldn't start.....
Uh-oh.....
Figured since I was running a stock chip with a 3" MAF and 440 cc/m injectors, it was probably running rich and fouled the plugs.
Pulled the plugs, and they were BLACK. Oh well, at least I know it runs.
I was also only running a 3" downpipe, it was pretty loud
And Ed (WYSIWYG), if you're reading this, YGM.

Wow, Congratulations!--3" MAF and 440 cc/m injectors? That's 2.25x air & 4x fuel of stock?
Most impressive. Get that thing a really good engine management system to harness its potential.
You have put your soul into this project; so, I assume you have already long ago researched and decided what engine management system to use?
Keep us updated on your fearsome project.

wow and 2 days ahead of schedule! congrats! maybe you need to switch to a 3bar FPR
for the meantime. my plugs are black BTW. probably the stock programming has code in there to shut off at certain 'abnormal' conditions. ummm youre supposed to run the engine long enough when breaking in rings right?

If it helps your trailblazing tuning, made my Stage III install seem easier.
I got to give you a lot of credit. But I also have to say as I was wading through my APR stage III install I felt better saying "Heck at least I'm not doing a ground up 2.0L conversion.
