Finally! Got my JE pistons today, and also picked up some 440cc injectors....
Just thought I'd share
I paid $540 for the pistons, and that includes the rings, pins, and clips.
I got them from <a href="http://www.jrcmotorsports.com/index2.html">JRC Motorsports</a>
I got a set of 8 injectors, that have about 5 minutes of dyno time on them, for $300. I can get more if anyone is interested, and cheaper, if there are a lot of people interested.
Click on any pic for a 1472x1104 version.

Aren't they pretty?

Sort of off the shelf......
they are for the 2.0 ABA block, but the dish is custom specified for a 9.0:1 ratio with a 20V head, plus they are clearanced for the 5th valve.
Took them 3.5 weeks to get here.

I used the SWAG method.....
(Scientific Wild *** Guess) along with the RC Eng. site.
redlines1.8t is making roughly 235hp with his K04, so according to RCEng, that comes out to about .57 BSFC (using 5 bar 270cc @ 100% duty - worst case scenario)
The S4s with the K04s are making 400hp on a stock fuel system (300cc @ 4 bar) which comes out to a BSFC of .50
440cc injectors, at a BFSC of 0.50, 100% duty, will support about 390hp. At a BFSC of 0.55, they'll support 350hp.
I figure this is about the limit of the stock A4 fuel pump, so anything bigger would be a waste, until someone comes up with an upgraded fuel pump.
Another big factor was the fact that I was able to get 8 injectors for $300. We'll see how well it runs, I can always upgrade later
