1995 Audi A6 2.8 Spitting and Sputtering
My vehicle has just recieved a new after market muffler put on it and it showed being the proper muffler for this year make and model so I know I got the right one but after driving it for about 10 minutes it started spitting and spuittering real good. I thought maybe it is because the day before I added a bottle of 108 octane booster to the full tank of fuel I put in it but thought I should ask everyone here if they ever had issues with after market mufflers and or after using a bottle of that high level of octane booster? Thanx for any feedback. I have taken good care of my car.

I am going to try and run all this fuel out over this weekend coming up and see if that doesnt clean out that fuel in there in case it is that octane booster , crossing my fingers, but my car is smooth after about 45 mph. Around town sucks at low speeds.
