Do you guys accept cashier's checks or demand a wire transfer in a situation where the buyer and seller are complete strangers?

I take it the normal, protected process is to do it via wire transfer as a cashier's check goes through the same process as a regular check (i.e. funds are not guaranteed until fully processed which could take several business days).
