Do you have any scheduled races there this year?

Default Not til later in the year...

We can't race the big cars until they get all of the curbing and runoff taken care of. Last fall there were still boulders in the runoff as evidenced by a large dent in the rockers of a local racer.

In addition the track requires SCCA ceritification to qualify for insurance for competitive events. Last I heard that process has yet to occur. SCCA currently has no events scheduled for this year, but Conference has one in October. I believe that is more or less what is holding things up, though I am not up to the minute on happenings.

What timing do you use? For us the AMB system is critical. Will be interested to hear how things go for you.

I might add that it is crazy seeing your time as about 15 seconds faster than me around PIR. Those things must be a blast through 4-7. I'm sure that's where I would lose the most time. What's your top speed at PIR?

Default Just to be complete, let's not leave out Pacific Northwest Motorsports Park

Way out in Boardman and operated as a country club type deal...

Default the weather has been an issue out there.....

.....in terms of completing the necessary features for racing. It's been like a frozen tundra out there and had held up some progress. SCCA certification is the priority for ORP right now and hopefully comes in the next 1 - 2 months.
