SO I'm moving to Portland OR from CT...
I will be driving there in a little over two weeks now in my 1997 Audi A6 Avant Quattro. Sadly this means selling my 2001.5 S4 before I go though.
So the question would be where in the Portland area, it looks like I will actually be in Beaverton, shoudl I bring my car when I start servicing it. I'll do some work on my own time, space and weather permitting but it's always good to be friendly with a good mechanic as well.
I've been bring my cars to the same guy for years and have had zero complaints. The A6 is there now because prior to my purchasing it I let the used car dealer install the OEM ball joint that needed replacing. Well they did a bad job and my wheel ended up slamming into my fender while backing out of the drive way. The ball joint they replaced failed.
Well I look forward to the drive and hopefuly there are some exciting things going on out there in the Pacific Northwest in the Audi World and I look forward to meeting some of you then.

Bring your car to us and if your in the housing market check out....
www.auctiontoday.com or www.buenavistahomes.com, They're unloading about 220 houses right now at roughly 60% of market value, including some homes in Hillsboro (the west side of Beaverton) and Beaverton.

I looked into this auction thing and it looks like the opening bids
are at about 60% of market value. But they fully expect the bidding to push the price up to near market value so might be hard to get a great deal.

Currently I will be unemployed when I first arive, so I'm not sure what I will end up doing...
I of course am interested in employment opportunities, I will be trying to finish up a degree when I arive as well. I have some sales experience if you need any help
